“La Crosse, WI” was written and produced by A-Scratch, with rappers Capaciti and Romes bouncing lyrics back and forth off each other – keeping a playful mood throughout the track. While many of the locations do not exist anymore (or have changed significantly), fellow La Crosse natives of a certain age will remember them, and bring smiles to their faces. Tyme machines, Mr. Movies, and Mr. D’s are all long gone, but this ode to “God’s Country” gives their memory one more chance to shine.
